Overall sound quality is very "musical", pleasant and quite impressive bearing in mind that this is a compact radio.
Haven't really tested the reception, but it picks up all the major city stations well - both AM and FM.
I'm not blown away by the reception, but it's alright.
As a powered speaker, it does lack stereo signal and surround sound, but it so easy to tote that usability wins out.
Elegant design, great audio, excellent reception, especially FM, such good sound you don't really miss the stereo very much.
