btw, like others have reported, the clock indicated that the installed lithium coin battery was dead on arrival (i wonder how long the clock sat on the shelf before i bought it).

when i plugged it in the time needed to be reset and it appears the clock had been inventory for so long that the lithium battery was dead and needed to be replaced so the factory advertised time
