Best Clock Radios for Beep

it's a very firm beep tone which increases in volume.

it's great to wake up to a quiet beep that gradually gets louder rather than an immediate bullhorn, and i have no idea why so many alarm clocks do not have this ability.

it is easy to use, has battery back-up, dual alarm times, programmable snooze time, progressive alarm beep (combined with the all button snooze feature) makes it easy to use when you are half a sleep

when my previous clock failed to beep after clicking on, i set out to find a new model.

i like the idea that you can fall asleep to the radio, have the alarm set on "buzzer", which is actually a gentle beep that gets louder and louder and more insistent till you turn it off.

the so called "buzzing" is just a low beep that you cannot hardly hear but if you set the alarm to radio it can be as loud as you want.

it is just beeping, not startling.

the radio gets decent reception, the beeping alarm is impressive with the graduating beep, my only 'but' is that the digital display is unnecessarily bright.

to fix: turn on unit, turn volume all the way down to 00, push and hold volume button for 10 seconds until beep then release, then turn volume all the way up to 50 (max) and push and release volume

and, you can set it to beep you awake if you prefer.

it does have a very light and polite beep with no volume control.

the buzzer will start out beeping slowly, and accelerate in the frequency if you don't snooze it.

i am a light sleeper, but the beeping alarm would probably not wake anyone else up, and i will not use it as a default.

instead of a harsh beeping in my ear, i now wake up to the sounds of the ocean and seagulls (one of four nature sounds you can choose).

two of the 3 alarms (the "water sounds", and the "beeper") do not allow any volume control, as best as i can tell.

benefits: digital tuner for am/fm; large and crisp display; good asthetic for casing; battery backup; beeping for alarm gentle ramps up from a single beep for about 10 seconds, then a double beep,

when i got this alarm clock for around 9 months, the radio died, and i could only use the beeping sound for alarm purposes.
