clock turned out to be too large for a bedside night-table, was analog tuning rather than digital and was affected (slow) by 50 cycles electrical supply.

this is an awkward thing to use, the balance on the main alarm clock is weird, if you want to project the time over your bed you have to have the clock in a weird position, and the light on the main
