Best LCD Clock Radios for Sensitivity

if you plan to see it from bed, you will need to face it directly toward your bed.

i am using it in a small one bedroom apt in the living room, so i have to weight my listening level with the privacy of other tenants the 3" speaker does this very nicely set around 35 to 38

but, i bought the unit for a bedroom where it would be used as a clock and occasional alarm in addition to a radio.

i purchased the radio because i wanted a high quality and long lasting radio for my bedside table.

the display is sensitive to the ambient light, but it still doesn't dim enough with the lights out in the bedroom, so its a tad too bright at night if you adjust the display for proper level with the

i purchased this for my bedroom for use on a shelf with a cd player and an ipod.

one is in the bedroom and the other is in the workout room.

it has some great features, the audio quality exceed my fairly high expectations, but it isn't practical as a bedside alarm clock.

that means i can stream music to it with an airport express, use it with an ipod, as a radio, or to boost the bedroom tv audio, all without having to switch cables around.

i own two of these; bought one for my bedroom first and use it just as a radio and alarm clock.

it would be great in both kitchen, bedroom, workshop/garage, apartment, or even a patio.

your nightstand or shelf must be lower than your bed (line of sight) or it's unreadbable.

this did not work and would have been unsatisfactory anyway since i bought this as a bedroom alarm clock.

not a good first impression in a guest bedroom.the second problem is the limited and/or undocumented power failure backup.

i spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect alarm clock for my bedroom and, as you can tell, i am still looking.

the base sets nicely on the bed table and doesn't slip around like the old model.

i use it in the bathroom, so that i can listen to our local radio station for news, weather, and traffic in the morning while i'm showering.

it's great as an all-around bathroom or garage radio.it's good to get the local tv stations when you don't have the time to seat and watch the tv.

i have very bad reception in the bedroom, and getting a radio to tune in and stay tuned has been impossible (i've tried about 3 or 4 different clock radios).
