finally i have found the bedside audio clock i've always wanted!
the display is sensitive to the ambient light, but it still doesn't dim enough with the lights out in the bedroom, so its a tad too bright at night if you adjust the display for proper level with the
i purchased this for my bedroom for use on a shelf with a cd player and an ipod.
one is in the bedroom and the other is in the workout room.
it has some great features, the audio quality exceed my fairly high expectations, but it isn't practical as a bedside alarm clock.
it has now replaced my receptor radio on the bed stand and the tivoli with it's ipod adaptor on the bookcase.
that means i can stream music to it with an airport express, use it with an ipod, as a radio, or to boost the bedroom tv audio, all without having to switch cables around.
i own two of these; bought one for my bedroom first and use it just as a radio and alarm clock.
it would be great in both kitchen, bedroom, workshop/garage, apartment, or even a patio.
it is the only audio equipment you will need for the bedroom.
use in bedroom for main alarm clock, i like the big numbers and big snooze bar.
the base sets nicely on the bed table and doesn't slip around like the old model.
i use it in the bathroom, so that i can listen to our local radio station for news, weather, and traffic in the morning while i'm showering.
it's great as an all-around bathroom or garage radio.it's good to get the local tv stations when you don't have the time to seat and watch the tv.
i have very bad reception in the bedroom, and getting a radio to tune in and stay tuned has been impossible (i've tried about 3 or 4 different clock radios).
the outlet next to my bed has never worked, so i put the clock across the room on the dresser.
only thing is clock light is very bright for bedroom.
the sound quality is more than adequate, but don't expect boise speaker quality, just smooth and precise enough to leisurely listen to in your bedroom while getting ready for work; the cd player
nice for reading the display, but it looked crowded on my smallish bedside table.
what good is a clock radio if you tune it to your favorite npr station at bedtime, and by morning when the alarm comes on, it's drifted a few points up or down the dial and you wake up to static???
however, its shape also causes it to easily tip over, making it inadequate for a bedside radio.
i use it by my bed, then carry it into the shower in the morning, then take it with me while i make and eat my breakfast.
water resistant design means it can live in the bathroom or kitchen comfortably.
if you keep it bedside it can knock it over very easily.
the tivoli songbook has very attractive, modern styling (i prefer the black model), exceptional sound quality (like having a $1,000 bose next to my bed), terrific reception (i don't even need to
i have a $10 shower radio with no attached antenna and i get all the stations.
impressed on how well it sound i am gona buy another to use in the bathroom mounted under a shelf for listening while taking showers pros: easy to set, good volume, neat features, reliable best uses:
