by just turning in bed, this alarm turned off!
i bought this to have something to play my ipod in the bedroom.
heavy sleepers be wary if you listened to cannon in d before going to bed at a low whisper--you might not wake the next morning.
if you need your bedroom to be pitch black, you're probably not going to like this alarm clock...however, in every other aspect, it's been fantastic!!
just the motion of my body moving on the bed to the response of the alarm immediately turned off the alarm within seconds and put it in snooze mode.
we use this cd player in our bedroom for our baby boy, it's slim and it works great, even though many complained about the light being too bright, i like it, because it works great as a night light.
i purchased this alarm for my son's bedroom because it didn't take up a lot of space and i basically just needed something to play the cd that he'd fall asleep to.
even with the "dim" button, the display is bright enough to cast hand puppets on the opposing wall of a dark bedroom.
it illuminates the entire bedroom.
i like that it has a detachable speaker so the alarms can sound on both sides of the bed.
i bought this for work because i liked the one i have at home in my bedroom also by homedics but this one is even better because the one i have at home has a slight hissing noise (it's right by my
i noticed that i sleep better because when i do get up to go to the bathroom at night, i can't see the time so i am not thinking about how much longer i can sleep.
finally i have found the bedside audio clock i've always wanted!
the display is sensitive to the ambient light, but it still doesn't dim enough with the lights out in the bedroom, so its a tad too bright at night if you adjust the display for proper level with the
i purchased this for my bedroom for use on a shelf with a cd player and an ipod.
one is in the bedroom and the other is in the workout room.
it has some great features, the audio quality exceed my fairly high expectations, but it isn't practical as a bedside alarm clock.
also nature sounds, an option, a bit distracting (who want's a frog in their bedroom?)
pros: sounds great, small size for bedside table
don't buy this unless you want a night light in your bedroom.
if i go to bed after my wife and i need to set the alarm, the beeping invariably wakes her up.
you can adjust the lighting to one of three intensity levels but with the lowest, even in the dark my entire bedroom is lit up.
of course, the sound from its little speakers is not as good as that from my 16" jbls, but it is not that far behind, and as bright and bassy as any little clock-radio by your bed would need to be.
i do like tinkering with computers and whatnot but not my son's alarm clock right before going to bed when he has stayed up too long already.
tool to block out other distractions - as well as to give me a steady peaceful sound to focus on as i drift off to sleep while my husband's breathing machine hisses on the other side of the bed.
i stayed in a timeshare a few months ago that had a larger bedside sound machine/alarm and loved it.
i like using it as a study tool to block out other distractions - as well as to give me a steady peaceful sound to focus on as i drift off to sleep while my husband's breathing machine hisses on the

pros: easy operation, small footprint, slick lighting. cons: high msrp, no battery back-up. the bottom line: a slick-n-simple bedside clock/radio/alarm; worth the outlet price; compliments

this watch i think was designed only for bedroom clock/radio and it looks decent only when the light in the room is off - otherwise, better don't look at it.
but i ended up turning off the nightlight once in bed.
i even took it with us on vacation to play in the hotel room so it would seem more like home at bedtime!
i use it to listen to music all day long; perfect for my small apartment bedroom where a bulky boom box just takes up too much space.
i still play his bedtime cd every night and it works great.

for small bedside speakers they sound very good, and so i find it reasonable to use this clock to play bedside music.
if you are in the kitchen a lot, or what the heck, if it is hung in a bedroom or bathroom, and you are not a sound aficionado, this little outfit will serve you well, i think.
