this clock was way to bright to actually have in a bedroom. from Target.com 3) the writing on the buttons is in white, the clock is silver, and unless the ambient light is bright, it's impossible to see the writing (which makes it hard to use before one memorizes what they from Target.com however, i had to read the owners manual to figure out how to set the clock, its slightly complicated until you get used to it. from Target.com the sound quality and radio reception is quite good as well. from Target.com also, the radio reception is horrible no matter how i adjust the wire - i live in a metro area and only one station on the entire dial comes through because of bleedover. from Target.com I just received this product as a gift and I have to return it. I set it quite easily. from Amazon.com This clock drives us crazy- when you try to shut off the alarm- the clock slides all over- (shut-off is on the side)- it should have been on the top! Poor design. from Amazon.com This alarm seemed to be pretty much functional, but I barely used it because it was so bright (even on the dimmer setting) that I couldn't sleep!
