low might be tough to see in the day - Aux input for mp3 player - Wake to cd or radio if you want (choose your track on cd) - Batteries for backup were INCLUDED!
There's a few things I dislike about it, but it still has features I haven't seen in any other alarm clock, at least at this price. The bad: The clock has a CD wake-up feature, which is nice, except that when you hit snooze instead of showing the time, it displays what track is currently playing. This is really annoying if you have a habit of repeatedly hitting snooze in the morning, since after a while you'll have no idea what time it is.
The clock is hard to read. The background lights up instead of the numbers. The CD player does not remember the previous track location. I use the CD player to listen to books.
I found this clock/CD/radio very easy to set up and use. The background colors for the display are easy to change and is a nice change of pace to be able to select a different color when the mood strikes.
Okay... so I've only had this clock for a few days now, so I can't comment on how long it'll last, but so far this is the best CD alarm clock I've been able to find for under $50 bucks! It was important for us to get a CD alarm clock as we like to wake up to nature sounds.
Overall I think it is a good enough clock radio CD alarm. My complaints are 1) the directions are hard to follow 2) the knob that does the mode selection is so "sleek" you can't grab hold of it.
All aspects of the radio and cd player work well, except the alarm. When it does work, it turns on at different times, sometimes in the middle of the night.
After less than one year of use, the display for the clock stopped working. When I called RCA to complain and get a replacement, they told me they had no record of my warrantee submission, and that they would do nothing for me without a receipt. Either keep your receipt or look for another product.
it's easy to use, i found the directions simple and understandable, i also found the wheel easy to use and not a problem to grab.
i much prefer this to traditional alarm clocks where you use one switch to pick clock/alarm1/alarm2/etc, since i sometimes get caught off guard when i forget to set the alarm before i go to bed.
