The CD player isn't the greatest, but for $30, I didn't expect it to blow the doors off. It's fine for listening to some music as I fall asleep. The real reason I like this clock/alarm, though, is that it doesn't skimp on the sleep/wake features. There's a dual alarm, wake to music, wake to alarm, snooze, automatic shut off... from Amazon.com It's a neat clock radio! The FM radio has an external antenna, which greatly improves reception if you are trying to tune in a station with a weak signal (a problem I have in my area).
