I would like to tell those interested in this device a bit about my experience with it. The bottom line (so you don't have to read further) is this is a really nice little piece of equipment. from Buy.com I got this clock as a Christmas gift, now I have to contact the giver to find out where to return this. I was excited at first, till I tested it. from Amazon.com After having tried several "atomic time" clock radios and alarm clocks, I have finally found what is for me a nearly perfect unit. The clock easily synchs up with the time signal from WWVB, even during the daytime, when many other units can't (assuming you orient the antenna properly). from Amazon.com The soft touch buttons makes it too easy to turn the radio and or change the snooze timer from 8min to 25 mins which I am constantly hitting by accident. I also like that the light is off unless the interface is touched. from Amazon.com While the features overall are pretty neat and this is a nice, compact design that is perfect for a night stand, I am finding that for a bedroom alarm clock it doesn't work so well. I thought that the "HiGlo(tm)" back-lighting was always on, making it easy enough to read in the dark, but that is not the case. from Amazon.com Overall this is a good atomic radio alarm clock but has a few drawbacks.
