I bought this phone on behalf of a friend and not two weeks after purchase, the phone is not working. But in less than 7 months owning it, it started to do weird things, the speaker stopped working at all and the software started failing during the start up, so I couldn't use it anymore. from Amazon.com I just purchased this unlocked Sony Ericsson W380a to replace an LG Shine that I got by contract. Calling and SMS (text) worked right away after inserting my GSM chip and powering on. from Amazon.com I have to be honest here, I only got this phone because there was a free Internet Notebook going with it and I expected to throw the phone in the drawer and keep using my old phone but I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised and have now given my old phone to my nephew!
