Best CB Radios for Car

if you google around for your car and "remove radio" you will undoubtedly find directions for accessing it.

i found out that gm has a mini plug from the antenna to the radio so i had to purchase 2 adapter cables, one from the car antenna into the device and another one from the relay into the radio.

all in all, i'm happy with it and plan on purchasing another one for the 2nd car.

was easy to install (if you know how to remove your car radio) and eliminates all static and the need to change fm stations on a long trip.

i have been using cb for about 10 years and i always make sure i have a uniden 510 available for a back up, or use it in a second car.

if all you are looking for is a no-frills cb for the car to keep in touch with others or get road information while traveling, the pro 510xl is a nice rig.

but, overcoming my doubts, i purchased it and installed it in my car.

i have worn out 2 musical horns on my clown car in the last 4 years.

anyhow i have had some nice convo's with the truckers...its a great piece of equipment for any car or suv..i am now thinking on the handheld midlands..

excellent choice, will work as a champ, good value and a compact design that will fit anywhere in your car

the only thing i figure out is how to 'tune' it so that you cant hear the car through it - even though it is a very faint noise.

this is a good buy but if you are going to use this in only one car or truck i would go with a hard mount cb because you don't have to hold the whole thing.

and can be set up to be totally set up for work use, in any car or truck!

the external antenna helps a lot when traveling by car.
