Based on a few weeks of use, this toner seems to work as well as genuine Samsung toner -- at about half the price. Good crisp, clean printing, all the quality that's made me so well satisfied with my ML 1710 for years. from Amazon.com Pros: I Bought a ML-1710D3 from Newegg on 05/31/2005 to be used as a replacement when my original cartridge failed. I Ordered a Samsung ML-1740 from Newegg on the same day. from Newegg.com Pros: Generally good quality products from Samsung. I bought this for my ML-1740. from Newegg.com Pros: I can confirm it works fine with a Samsung ML-1740 Cons: none from Newegg.com Pros: Large capacity when used correctly Cons: It runs out eventually. Other Thoughts: You know, it's getting to be cheaper to buy a new laser printer rather than a toner cartridge. from Newegg.com Pros: It works in the ML-1740, it's black, it sticks to paper.
