The picture and description show that this an actual Canon ink cartridge, but what I received was a knock-off brand made in China in a yellow and blue box! Buyer beware... from Amazon.com This product was purchased through Amazon from Eforcity. It was advertised as Canon. from Amazon.com First off, this product is excellent. This review is to warn potential purchasers that Eforcity (3rd party vendor) purports to sell "genuine" Canon BCI-3e BK cartridges but substitutes Chinese compatibles of lesser quality. When I challenged Eforcity, they said I would have to return the bogus ink tanks to obtain a refund. from Amazon.com Ad clearly stated (and showed photo of) Canon BCI-3eBK ink. Instead I received a knock-off brand named "OA100" which had "Made in China" stamped on the bottom its package. from Amazon.com I used to buy this kind of ink cartridge made by canon and they would not last very long. Until I found this supplier . from Amazon.com Works fine in my Canon S520. Good for text or for B&W photos. from Amazon.com Item is standard Canon Printer item which works great as all Canon products do which I have used over the years. Item was received on time as advertized. from Amazon.com These inks are inexpensive and a great value for your dollar. Only buy authentic ink as some generic inks will smudge or damage your printer. from Amazon.com Was leaking a little bit when it arrived. I probably should have returned it... from Amazon.com I am not a heavy user of ink and I see no reason to take a chance with "compatible" products to save a few bucks. With Amazon Prime I get a good price on genuine Canon ink plus free shipping and 2 day delivery. from Amazon.com
