I agree with the review named 'Car Audio Basics 101'. These speakers are designed for low end fill plus all mids and highs, and they sound great for the price. from Circuitcity.com I bought these speakers for my saturn because who ever had my car before me blew one of the front speakers. i have a pioneer cd deck, and i figured that these would be a good speaker to get. They are ok, but if you are the type of person that likes to hear your bass, then dont get these. from Circuitcity.com I installed a Panasonic cq-df583u head unit in my Subaru Outback ,but when i turned up the volume , the sound was poor. So i got these Pioneer for my front doos and other Pioneer 41/2' for the rear doors. This system consists of four lower mount door speakers with two tweaters in the front doors, and a passenger kick panel Infinity amp. The factory speakers had deteriorated after eight years, so I replaced all of the four door factory speakers with these Pioneer units.
