Best Car Seats for New Born

it has padding but not real soft and it needs to be washed its a little rough for a new born.

The only other this is it has three positions for the harness but the first one is so far down that my new born (who was 6lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long) couldn't use it from birth so we had to start her on the second position and she can only go up on...

I would suggest a better head support than the one provided...but most carseats don't come withthe best head support for a new born.
