i've seen complaints about them being uncomfortable for some, but my kids like them & the bonus is that they provide a much welcome head support for naps on long car rides.

we recently went on a long road trip and he was very comfortable, did not overheat and was able to play with toys and kick his feet around- keeping him occupied and naps weren't a problem.

the heads wings never bothered our first child but the boulevard is a much better design, with more room for the head -- great for naps and longer rides.

my daughter is very comfortable in this carseat and though the head wings are for safety they are also so great for naps on long trips.
