we are able, though, to fit them both in the second row of our suburban, and there is still room for their 4-month old sister's graco snugride between them(fyi: best infant seat on the market).

it actually fits better on the seat than our graco snugride (the snugride was too skinny and leaned into the crack of the seats, this seat has a wide enough base to be stable over the crack!
