it is environmentally correct -it does not have a lot of plastic which may out gas toxins like bulkier seats.

my only complaint is that, depending on height of the car's seat back, the plastic piece that distributes the shoulder straps can line up right behind the child's head and may not be comfortable.

i was conercned about it not having a plastic shell like other seats.

it is true that this fits much better than a plastic framed carseat and does install faster.

the upper harness has a plastic holder in the back that kinda pushes through the thin fabric.
