i absolutely loved the base, the fabric, the sturdiness of the seat, but where is the slack?????

i had originally purchased the triumph convertable car seat and i loved it but it only goes to 40 lbs and my 19 month old is already 32 lbs.
my just 2 yr old (25lbs) loves it & still has plenty of room to grow in it & my 4 month old (19lbs) who hated the bucket carrier loves this seat.
