Best Rear and Forward Facing Car Seats for Trip

i bought two of these car seats (in the champagne color), one for my 2 1/2 year old boy and one for my 8 month old.

all in all it is a good, compact, safe and sturdy seat for your children, but if you are looking for lightweight portability this isn't the product for you.

i would certainly recommend it for toddlers or preschoolers who are not yet cognitively ready to sit still for prolonged periods of time in a booster seat without a five point harness.

it's got a soft, suede-like feel to the seat, sits low in the seat, so i'm not lifting too horribly high when i put her in our tahoe, and it feels very sturdy and secure.

overall, it's a very good seat with a sturdy, safe metal-frame design.

my son's pediatrician said it is now recommended children remain rear facing until 2 years old or they meet the weight limit for rear facing.

i am currently using this car seat for my 21 month old son.

it was easy to install and i was surprised to see how sturdy and secure it is.
