I bought a giant convertible carseat when my child was a year old, hoping it would last a life time. Now I wish I had gotten this a year earlier -- life is so much easier with a booster & my kid loves this one (he's an all blue all the time kind of kid). from Amazon.com He loves this seat! It's light weight so he's able to move the booster himself to a different spot in our minivan and he's able to put his seatbelt on and take it off all by himself. All of this makes him feel like a big boy. Also, he's mature enough to listen when we say he must never take the seat belt off while the car is moving. from Amazon.com We test drove this seat for a couple of weeks and she is in love. Just ordered her another so we can have one in each car. We haven't used it yet but it was the clear winner for my son (unconcerned of course about usefulness) because of its look.
