We LOVE this booster seat. I purchased this seat after doing A LOT of research. from Amazon.com Well, I purchased this car seat a month ago and am now trying to figure out if I should return it. Like many parents of tall children, I want a booster seat that will allow my 4 1/2 year old to stay in the 5pt harness until she is a few years older. The Britax Marathon is too big for my car and the Nautilus limits the 5 pt harness use to 52 inches. from Amazon.com I bought this from Albee Baby for $89.99 - so awesome price adn only $5 shipping. But this thing is way too wide. I have a Suburban and wanted to put this in the 3rd row so my <65# toddler could sit in the middle. (There is no shoulder belt and I have 6 kids.) It is 20" wide at its widest point. from Amazon.com I bought this as a 2nd car seat for my 5 year old. I liked how the harness weight was high and it had high slots. I figured once he was done with that then I'd have a nice booster and be done with buying carseats for the boy. Well the harness slots are higher but when on the highest slot, my sons head seemed to be leaning forward because of the way the headrest was positioned. from Amazon.com I bought this seat for my 4 yr old when he outgrew his Cosco Summit Deluxe. At 4 he wasn't ready for a booster so we went with this seat. He turned 6 in Sept and still has about 6m or left in the harness of this seat. from Amazon.com this product is great because it's a booster with a 5 point harness. most parents of 3+ yr olds use standard boosters with a seat belt. from Amazon.com I researched car seats as my daughter approached 40 pounds and was outgrowing her harness. Since she's just over 3 years old, I just didn't feel ready to switch her to a seatbelt. After researching and reading reviews I decided on the Apex 65 hoping to keep my "baby" hooked in to a harness as long as possible. So far I'm very happy with the car seat. from Amazon.com I was looking to be able to keep my daughter in a five point harness as long as possible and she had outgrown her seat that could harness up to 40 pounds. I found some seats out there that harness up to 85 pounds, but just didn't have the money to spend $400 on one. So, I found this seat at a reasonable price and was able to feel good about harnessing her up to 65 pounds. It's easy to use, very comfy and my daughter just loves it. from Amazon.com the safer the better. The cup holder is pretty low, my son cannot reach it. Love the Safety First seat, which is comparible to his other seat of Alpha Omega Elite. from Amazon.com We were ready to move our 5 year old into a booster and wanted a 5 pt system.
