The seats were right next to each other. We have a 2004 Malibu. ?The Coccoro torqued to the side up against the Radian, so that was unsafe. ... from Shopping.com It was after the seat was in. My wife is small so a car seat behind her is no problem, however being 6 foot it's tough for me to drive when my chest is almost in the steering wheel. My wife read about the Coccoro while searching the web for a compact car seat. Long story short this seat has been a savior. from Elitecarseats.com Our Coccoro carseat fits great in the car (it's currently rear-facing), which is a VW Jetta.
