It was after the seat was in. My wife is small so a car seat behind her is no problem, however being 6 foot it's tough for me to drive when my chest is almost in the steering wheel. My wife read about the Coccoro while searching the web for a compact car seat. Long story short this seat has been a savior. from Elitecarseats.com We bought two of these for my 2 year old twins when I had a third baby. I did NOT want to buy a minivan, so when I found the Coccoro I was elated. We fit two of these and a Graco Snugride in my Hyundai Santa Fe. from Amazon.com I ended up returning this for the cherry pie color. The colors on amazon are way off from the real thing. See the Combi website for better colors. The blue was a powder blue rather than the sort of muted light blue in Amazon. from Amazon.com I love Combi products-- true genius minds at work. Finally, I took the top tether strap and hooked it to my front underside of my passenger seat (there is a hook under there, and it fit perfectly). I called Combi to make sure this was okay, and the man said that as long as it was secure, he didn't see why not. I have a radian80 but because of the headrest of the middle seat and height of the carseat, it just wouldn't fit such that my daughter (forward-facing) could sit or sleep comfortably. from Amazon.com
