I bought this booster seat to keep in my car for my niece who is 4 yrs and weighs about 35 pounds but she is still to short to sit in the regular seat and she uses a a booster seat in my sisters car (her Moms car) which is a booster with the latch but this seat fits well with her and it makes it so much nicer not having to switch car seats around I highly recomend this from Babyage.com We bought this seat for each set of grandparents as they all seemed to have a hard time installing a car seat correctly due to lack of strength. My daughter is 34 pounds and preferably she should be in a 5 point harness, but I was more concerned that the grandparents get her and the seat in correctly. from Babyage.com
