I wish I knew then what I know now. I would have bought the Britax seat to begin with and saved myself $150. If you're on a budget, I recommend the Cosco Scenera 5-pt seat. from Amazon.com My son is a big boy. He grew out of the snap-in infant seat when he was 4 months old and we bought the Alpha Omega seat for him. As a rear-facing seat, it fit great in my mid-sized suv, but in the little Grand Am, it touched the front seat. from Amazon.com I've had my Alpha Omega for a couple of months now and all I can say is that our son, Vegas, feels like a king in his fancy new seat.
