We LOVE it!!! What a breeze to install! I did at least 3 weeks of research and so happy we decided to go with this style in the Diplomat. We really wanted the Boulavard style but knew their was no way it was going to fit... from Amazon.com I did many hours of research before purchasing a new carseat for my 8-month-old son, and ultimately bought the Britax Diplomat based on safety, size, and comfort. The side support does not keep my son's head from leaning when he falls asleep and I cannot imagine that it would support a newborn. I saw some reviews complaining about the smell of the carseat, ours didn't smell at all so I am not sure what that is about. Has a lot of details to help make the baby more comfortable and that is great, I'd definatly buy another Britax. from Amazon.com We first ended up with the Recaro but even though it's a German company there was no way to install it safely in a VW Touareg rear-facing. The problem with the Recaro is the base, which is very high and does not give you enough clearance to get your kid into the seat. Britax Diplomat was next. With it's relatively small size and base footprint it fits into a Touareg rear-facing. from Amazon.com
