The Britax Marathon can accommodate children rear-facing from 5 to 33 pounds or children forward-facing from 1 year old and 20 to 65 pounds. The built-in vehicle belt lock-offs are only one of the features that make the Marathon easy to install with the highest level of safety. The Marathon's Versa-Tether system is compatible with the top tether points on vehicles, to anchor the top of the car seat and prevent tilting. Combined with LATCH system connectors with a push-button release, these features will ensure the most secure possible installation in your vehicle. Plus, the patented "floating" HUGS System is designed to reduce head movement and keep the child's head and neck safe in all situations, and EPS protective foam surrounds your child's head and torso for maximum protection.
