If you have a two seat sports car like I do, you may be attracted to the Recaro name. Unfortunately, according to their instructions, which are available on line, this seat should not be installed in the front seat.
Let me start off by saying I did not buy this on line but in the store where I could sit it side by side with several Britax the Recaro Como. After a week of research I was mainly considerating the Britax Advocate (but did look at several Britax).
The cover is like velvet. The SIP headrest keeps my 6-month-old's head from flopping side-to-side when he sleeps.
Since we were going to forego the type of seats that clip out for infants because they are a waste of money after 6 months we decided to go with a convertible and leave it there until the child reaches 70lbs. or gets embarrass to be in one, whichever comes first. The Signo was worth the added price just for the adjusting knob. Not only does it have style it is highly thought out.
I was searching for weeks for the safest and most comfortable car seat for my 10 1/2 month old daughter since she was growing out of her infant carrier. A friend told me about the Recaro seats and after hours of research I decided to purchase the Signo G2 in Raspberry. I got the car seat three days ago and we have been on a few car rides since then and I am so happy with this car seat.
