I have 13-month-old twins and already these seats are getting uncomfortable for them (they are 25 and 30 lbs, and 29" and 30" respectively); every time they get red marks on their inner thighs. They are buckled in correctly, there is just no way around the short crotch strap. ERF: Not much leg room for extended rear-facing, or for bigger babies like mine - at 13 months, legs are already crammed up against the back seat. We already had the exact same one from Babies R Us that cost quite a bit more, but needed another for our second car. We had a Safety First infant carrier before this, but once I got the Britax I realized how flimsy the other one was and stopped using it right away.
