After reading countless safety reviews and strapping and unstrapping our daughter into seven different seats at the store, my husband and I chose to purchase the Britax Boulevard and have not regretted the decision for a moment. Admittedly the seat was slightly difficult to install in the rear-facing position (primarily because we have an older car without the LATCH option) but it was a minor hassle, at best. from Amazon.com I have two of these. One in black (onyx) and one in brown (huntington). Most of the britax's are plush (fuzzy and hot).
