I purchased this EQ because the head unit I got for Christmas only had one set of preamp out's. My 3 speaker set-up (2 door speakers, 1 sub) is powered by a 4 channel amp, with channels 1 & 2 and channels 3 & 4 each having their own inputs. I had bridged channels 3 & 4 to power the sub, which sent more RMS power to the sub than to the door speakers. from Amazon.com First of all this is NOT A PARAMETRIC EQ! It is not even a "quasi parametric" or "semi parametric" EQ. from Amazon.com The sub crossover is at 32hz, 64hz, or 132hz, a 80-90hz setting would have been more useful. all in all, I sent mine back.
