I've had this changer in tandem with the XR-CA350X for 3 years now; CDs change quickly, sound is very clear, and it handles the most "speckled" of CDs without a skip (CDs really have to be seriously damaged for it to hit a snag). Compared to some of its other changers over the years, this one is head and shoulders above the rest. If you have a compatible Sony head unit, there's no reason one shouldn't add this to his/her arsenal. However, if one wants to add an iPod adapter and still use this changer, one will need the Sony XA-C40 splitter (~99.99) to add it as an additional source. from Crutchfield.com The hardest part of this install was drilling the screws into my new car. Placement of the CD Player is crucial. Power source auto connected with the Sony Reciever I had also bought from these guys.
