This little amp is awesome! I am running boston accoustic components 6.5 sx's up front and 6.5 full range in the back. Also A alpine 10 inch type r sub in a ported box. The highs sound very clean and it has more then enough power for my sub. from Crutchfield.com This little amp is great. The review written by Glenn, Houston, TX describes this amp perfectly. My birth-sheet stated 114w x 4 and 414W for the sub, much higher then alpines min specs. pros -very very small -all wiring connectons on one side, neat speaker terminals -all controls on the other side, behind a neat panel -very crisp and clean sound (for those worried about the S/N ratio, dont, very clean sounding amp, ) - highs are precise and clear, cons -must be mounted horizontally, due to heat sink design -no bass boost All and all this amp is great, i have it powering two sets of alpine type x (ref) components and a jl audio 10" w3 stealth box. from Crutchfield.com I am very happy with it. FYI - My test sheet showed 106/421 watts. On mid/highs, it is the best sounding, most detailed, reasonably priced amp I have ever owned and I have owned many, including the Alpine MRP series. I had a off brand amp that was rated at 1200 Watts connected to a 12in Audiobahn. Sound is loud enough for crusing at highway speeds with all windows down and crisp and clear. I would recommed using with Imprint if you have an Alpine HU for fine tuning though. I'll installed it on a Subaru Forester 09. What's great of the amp is that it's small enough to fit under the driver's seat and powerful enough to drive a pair of Bostons SX60 and a pair of JL Audio VR600-CSI plus a Rockford Fosgate P3SD410 Sub and make them sound so beautiful that I'm amazed. It's sounds very clean, loud and with 300watts of great bass. from Crutchfield.com The sound quality produced from the amp is great. Even with the installation being in a 1986 F150 the sound quality is very good without ajusting the gains. I had an Alpine system in a Mustang and was very pleased so I wanted to use the same brand in my truck.
