Best Autofocus Camera Lenses for Novice

i bought this lens for my canon eos xti and used it at a family wedding for the first time.

this lens is great for portraits or product shots where you want to focus on one subject and have the foreground & background blurred out.

this is an awesome lens from canon for your dslr - it partners nicely with the kit lens.

i realize that this is by far not the greatest lens, but for the price it is to me, a newcomer to the digital slr world, this lens great, as far as price in concerned.

it makes a nice portrait lens at 70mm, it seems to do a better job with shortening the depth-of-field compared to the 40-150.

although some reports indicate focus is slow in low-light situations, in good light where this lens will usually be used, it's quite fast.

i've had this lens for a couple of weeks now, shooting with it on an e-420.

it is a quality product and when you have the ability to go from 18 mm to 250 mm with all excellent photos you may not need another lens in your bag.

this lens covers a lot of territory (focal length) and after getting used to it could very easily become the main "walking around" lens to keep on your dslr.

it is in practice a real one lens for everything solution for your pentax or samsung dslr.

in the first week with my pentax k10d 10.2mp digital slr camera with shake reduction (body only) and this lens i've taken some of the most beautiful photos i've ever taken in my life!

the af is a little slow, but certainly on par with or better than my 18-55 kit lens.

this 35mm lens is sharp, i takes great photos in low light situation.

if you have a nikon dslr and you want to shoot in low light your cameras iso adjustment and lenses that have vr are a help.

in something very dark like pirates, set your nikon to shutter priority 1/125 and take the photos; you can brighten where necessary later.

btw, my wife has really enjoyed the results this lens has helped me get.

and all that said, it takes great optically stabilized photographs, from a distance (and it really didn't seem too slow...actually pretty quick now that i think about it).

magnifying it with photoshop not only can i see the 'dish network' clearly, but magnifying a little more i can read the 'tm' underneath the logo.
