i feel this calculator is the best not only did it come with everything i needed to use it (batteries included) but it came with access to very helpful web sites for free.
it does everything the ti-83 does and more.
per him - it does everything he needs in his math class, plus he can play games on it and make cartoons!
it will do almost any calculation the ti-whatever will, it will graph everything with higher resolution, it will numerically and algebraically (if possible) calculate derivatives and integrals, and
while the ti-84 plus may not have as much space or as many pre-loaded apps as the ti-84 plus silver edition, the ti-84 plus offers everything a high school (possibly some college) math student needs

and everything is grouped accordingly to what they do.
this calculator does everything the ti-83+ does and more.
pros: does just about everything a ti-83 calculator will do for about half the price.
it will compute everything with its 8 modes.
i was very impressed with the capabilities of this inexpensive calculator - it did everything i would want for the exam, except perhaps being able to store pre-programmed equations, like the hp-33s.
has everything i need for quick computing.
this comes in handy when you do an error in the beginning, now you do not have to write everything all over.
everything i need -- metric conversions, equation solver, matrix functions, differential and derivative evaluations, statistical analysis, etc.
this calculator gave me everything i wanted.
it does everything but graph and it processes equations faster and easier than the big expensive calcs.
the button layout is pretty similar to the ti graphing calculators, so right off the bat i was able to find everything i needed.
update: i wanted to add that the casio fx-115es is a scientific and non-graphing calculator (same class as the ti-30xs multiview) that handles everything the ti-30xs multiview fails to cover such as
