-no thousand comma separator, this is a major complain i have as i had to count zeros once in a while and my eyes get tired of doing that and it's a waste of time.
i've had tons of calculators over time, with the casio fx-4000p (back in the late '80s) being the first truly memorable one (my brother had an fx-7000g, the first graphing calculator).
-- can be performed with a few keystrokes vice having to spend time programming a function.
and belive me this can do most of the things that 10 times more expensive calculators do, so this one is pretty much awesome
the matrix reduction capabilities has been a major time saver especially on tests, particularly for solving systems of linear equations especially in my statics, dynamics, and strength of materials
though it took me some time to getting used to it, patience is the key.
the functions are really useful; two in particular that i've used the most are the equation solver and the matrix calculation, which simplifies calc steps and saves time.
i dropped this thing so many times, but it hasn't broken yet.
what took me a minute or two to locate and figure out out the ti, took less than half the time on the casio.
2- the f1-6 keys need longer time to relate what they do to the mode menu.
it's also very simple to learn how to use most of the functions without having to refer to the manual (a big time saver for me especially when traveling with it).
i have only used the ti-nspire calculator about 10 times with my son.
most of the time i have to prop it up with something in order to see it clearly.
takes forever to load (sure only the first time you use a certain calculator...
i hated the fact that we had to get it, but now that i have it, i use it all the time.
definitely a plus to have in the kitchen, as well as having extra timers on hand for cooking more than one thing at a time!
this calculator/timer is very useful.
easy to use, easy to understand manual, very good product.calculated industries kitchencalc 8305 pro master chef edition recipe conversion calculator with dual digital timer
the directions are pretty simple, though i keep my user's guide handy for a refresher from time to time.
she also found the dual timers convenient.
easily makes enough food at one time for a party.
it's so easy to use and you don't waste a lot of time learning to use it.
any real estate agent needs this caculator with them at all times, period!
pros: excellent smoker easy control of heat cons: wood box needs too be a little larger and also liquid tray is too shallow over all this smoker is excellent, compared to other smokers three or
it also has line by line playback and editing which has saved me massive amounts of time during tests because i can go back and change a number in a long equation and solve it again instead of having
this is a great calculator, it takes a little time to read the manual and learn all the features, this one just about does it all.
(in 1996 it cost over four times as much as the el-506wb does today and didn't have solar cells.) the modern sharp series, like most modern scientifics, is made as cheaply as possible.
there have been online reviews of the el-506 wbbk from the uk that stated that this machine wouldn't do certain integrals or computed the incorrect answer after way too much time, but i have checked
this new thing is 4 times beter and for the price you can't match.
this product is a time saver!!
it has many useful features and can save a lot of time that would be spent flipping through the code book.
i have not taken the time yet to sit down with the code to check the accuracy of the results but assuming that the algorithms are accurate this is a great tool to keep around.
i need a calculator that doesn't increase the total by the amount of the last entry every time you hit the = key.
i use it all the time and the "send" function is brilliant when used in conjunction with excel.
much simpler than having to multiply by your tax rate all the time.
the sharp e2630piii,is a great product the date and time features are a great addition to the calculator.
my only wish is that the times (x) key were located to the left of the number pad.
summary: this calculator offers a bright display and a date and time function that shows in the display and also can be printed.
when it states calendar & clock function the average person would believe that when your unit is off (not a calculator) that the time or time calendar would show on the display.
this is easily the best calculator i have used in a long time
it stayed on the air only a short time...but during that
i had a need for a solar calculator that did not take up space but at the same time was not too small.
the battery back-up is great for low-light conditions and works seamlessly (if you happen to be "ciphering" and walking at the same time).
altho this would seem minor it makes for some fumbling around with the keys every time.
i lost couple of them but every time buy this one again )
that button alone probably saves you pressing the zeros button 50+ times a day!
pros: quick problem solving and portability cons: may be a little difficult for the beginner - takes time to learn the bottom line: if you are looking for a portable solution to solving
i have found this product is useful for not only my job, but my home needs as well.the construction master 5’s cubic entry conversion feature has saved time and concrete.
the timer feature is handy if you want to leave the immediate area where you can hear your primary timer: just slip the kitchen calculator in your pocket and go to the basement, do yard work, etc.
even if you are a small time cook the options on this calculator are great.
i was hoping to just pop some docs into the adf and press a button and have them show up but you can't really do it in the backgrond and the file transfer times are godawful slow.
i loved my laser printer because the toner seemed to last a very long time compared to my photo printer.
the brother had a very loud fan which ran just about all the time.
canon technical support has been excellent and i have called them several times.
and this after they hung up on us the first time.
to my dismay, that calculator is not sold inside the us at this time and to get one you need to import from england, essentially tripling the price.
i use this handy capability from time to time, and it's something the el-w516b can't do.
a) numerical integrals on the new sharp units are now a little slower to perform than on the casio fx-115es for example, but once complicated integrals are performed the time differences are much
if both calculators were available to use, in my subjective humble opinion, i would choose to use the w most of the time.
i have used decimals all my life on calculators and now i get this fancy shmancy new calculator that insists on showing off that it can display fractions every dang time.
i like it especially for trips and outside activities when i can do quite useful mathematical explorations that i don't normally have time for at home or in the office with my busy schedule.
i can't confirm this fact as of yet, but it uses 4 aaa batteries as well as a lithium backup battery to be used as a backup while changing the main batteries.2) most high schools require ti units,
hopefully, this is not the last of them well see from hp but only time will tell.
it does not come with a charger or wall plug, or a computer link, but it uses two parallel batteries, so you can replace them one at a time and never lose whatever is in the calculator memory.
it has about 80 times the memory of the hp-32sii, and i found it to run about 2.5 times faster.
i'm a very long-time hp/rpn user (even had an rpn calculator not made by hp - national semiconductor!) and have quie a few of them lying around.
i used it for doing "cut sheets" the first day i had it and found it to be very efficient and a big timesaver becasue of all its features.
but time was short and a shop with the more expensive programmable calculators meant a special trip into town.
viewing multiple problems and answers at a time is good, but browsing your entire history with the arrow pad is great.
for example it is unable to evaluate integrals or differentials and there is no direct option to select different logarithm bases using the 30xs (every second counts on a timed exam and i'd rather
it's the right product and shipped on time
the product was ordered and recieved within the time frame given.
a calculator may be necessary at times, but believe me, a scientific one will do just fine.
i was delighted how fast they delivered the calculator so my grandson did not miss any time getting into the thick of things in class.
i got what exactly i ordered in reasonalbe time of delivery.
i kept the hp because of its external sd storage capability although it will take me a long time to master the keyboard and internal functions.
it will take a lot of time to learn all the functions.
i first had the hp50g but i changed it for the classpad because it saves me much more time in the exams than the other, the only thing i don't like about the classpad is the lack of an unit converter
there is no way to display the whole line at the same time.
