I am a 35 year experienced builder and have owned both the Construction Master and Sonin Calculators. I liked the Sonin better because it's easier to use and more suited for problem solve a builder experiences. from Amazon.com This is a knock off calculator. It is not the same as the calculator Radio Shack sold for many years. My Sonin hung up after being used for three days. A pile of junk. from Amazon.com I have been using my inchmate calculator for 10 years extensivly in my job as a mechanical designer. It is a great calculator and very fast. from Amazon.com Exactly once! For years I have performed double, triple and sometimes many more checks on calculations for cuts on expensive, rare woods. The Sonin calculator has made calculation time short and accurate.

Easy to use and right on everytime. Now if I just get a tape measure that tells me when I measured wrong, I'm set!
