This belkin pureav cable is well built. I bought it to hook up my denon 2310c reciever to my new polk 505 sub which I also bought from amazon, WOW WOW WOW, very impressive. from Amazon.com NOT THE CASE HERE. This is an amazing deal. 25 foot long cable for under $10! Don't waste your money on a monster cable. from Amazon.com I used it to connect a Klipsch Sub-10 Subwoofer to a Yamaha RX-663BL AV Receiver. It worked fine. from Amazon.com This cable will significantly attenuate the signal due to its length. If you have a low signal output, you will receive nothing at the subwoofer unless you boost the volume. I tried to use the cable for a regular audio output (digital audio from PC to amplifier) and the signal will not go through. I have been using it for about 2 months and have been very pleased. from Amazon.com I am a person that research price and specs for months, and the bottom line is that you can't beat Belkin Products, I have used them in every thing from race vehicles to the recent hooking up a new sub woofer. I doubt if find this quality of cable in San Diego for under $40.00 and it would probably be the same product from a parts wholesaler that is open to the public. I would spent money on transportation and sales tax so with the super saver shipping I saved at least $25.00. Cons: None Other Thoughts: For much of it's length it's bundled up with a variety of other wires and cables (power, speaker, etc), but I don't seem to get any cross talk between them (no 60 Hz hum to the sub). from Newegg.com Pros: Great price, 25' is absolutely more than enough, and the sound quality has improved noticeably.
