Best Business and Productivity Software for Quicken

i have switched over to microsoft after using quickbooks and quicken for years.

they were latest versions of products as microsoft money small business, quicken home & business, peachtree, simple accounting, quickbooks pro & premier 2006, and more, don't remember all names....

i wish it had a more quicken like interface and direct connections to the banks.

quicken/quickbooks user for over 13 years - for a reason

i have been using quicken and quickbooks since the dos days and they continue to be the state of the art for what i call the "non-accountant" user.

if you are using quicken 2008 r2, r3 or r3 and want to convert the data to quickbooks 2008 you should not buy quickbooks 2008 at this time.

i look forward to doing a quick transfer to my quicken program for next tax season.

for me, i'll continue to just manually input my expenses in quicken and use its reporting and tracking features.

i had to reformat my computer recently and although i retained the data from other programs (such as quicken, and roboform), neat receipts data was completely lost.

i have to file it as a document where i can't tag it's dollar amount, can't tag it as 1099 income, and it can't be exported to quicken.

i am very happy i upgraded to this because i no longer have to produce nice invoices from quicken premiere home and business 2005 like i was doing with simple start 2005 just so they would look half

if you want to import quicken files you will need to upgrade to the quickbooks pro version.

but does not allow import/export of data to other quicken versions.

if quicken isn't enough for your needs, get pro.
