on the other hand, i'm not having much trouble feeding single sheets and i like the guides -- even if they're not exactly sized to everything i want to feed.

using the neat desk scanner: you must hold/guide certain receipts, that are not the exact width of one of the feeder, to make sure it goes through straight, or it will scan at a crooked angle, and

the driving guidance works well and gives just the right amount of time when giving verbal directions.

then you plug in a gps receiver, and the laptop you have to carry with you anyway guides you with gps turn by turn spoken directions.

other than the lack of a dbms, the office software is "just like on my pc", only with the smooth mac gui :=)

you will appreciate the move to a more easily guided user interface, which now assists the novice user more readily but can easily be toggled on & off, as you gain experience.

so i removed flash 9, installed flash 8, got the .net stuff working, followed every guideline and help i could find at quickbooks.com/support, and prepared myself to try again.
