eventhough this is the first time using quickbooks, i am a long time user of quicken and i expected no less in this product.
it isn't as user friendly as it could be, and there are some things that aren't real clear or how to fix them.
it's for first-time users only and apparently you can download it for free, so why is someone selling it?
had a little trouble installing it because the fancy software for walking the user through the installation wouldn't fun on the vista table os.
first, i have been a user of streets and trips for years, but never again.
lousy user interface.
very user friendly.
i have been a microsoft s and t user for 6 years.
strengths: price and user freindly weaknesses: advanced features summary: i purchased this ~2 months ago for my new hp tablet and it really works great.
but it is some what crippled when the above features are considered which take away the userfriendly tag of microsoft corporation from this product.
i assume that most computer users have a word processor -- most likely microsoft word.
onenote even fails to read journal files, which is ridiculous for a tabletpc user.
as an it manager this was the perfect product to keep together all the info i have to keep on my network, user documentation, projects, program notes, bug notes, screenshots, etc.
windows xp pro has a more high-end networking features that most home users will never miss or would even know were missing.
good system software but not as user friendly as mac os.
what this means in terms of the end user is that windows xp will tend to get slower and less stable over time, and must be reinstalled every 2 - 3 years.
don't you notice the trouble it takes a user to change the fields?
windows xp customers always have problems of some sort, so the stubborn users of xp always need my help.
