it is pretty basic, but it's easy to use and creates professional looking slide shows and presentations.
strengths: ease of use, commonly used by businesses.

i tried "things" (too simple) and read the extensive reviews on the net regarding time management/productivity and billing programs.
the learning curve is pretty steep even with the manual, there is just too much flexibility to be simple.
i think is a great software for the price ( compared to act etc.) only wish they had more free training options other than the basic videos and user manual.
when i got mine, not only was it easy to use and understand, i was able to show my boss how he even made using his more difficult than it needed to be.
paperport wants to put all the doucments you scan into a folder it creates upon installation, but it's a fairly simple task (for an experienced pc user) to force it to store documents elsewhere (i

the basic image editing tools are actually pretty good - they allow you to straighten the document, change contrast and brightness and the like, and to crop and cut out parts of the document - in

after a few months of casual usage, i would say my software is hitting 90 to 95% accuracy (higher under ideal conditions with simple words).

what i would like to see is software that will do basic stuff.
i found that the scanning features were excellent and easy to use so that i always got what i wanted.

it's easy to use and has done a great job with my finances and the many accounts i have (401k, savings, checking, money market, mutual funds); no complaints.

i read everything on and in the box, and followed all the available instructions (which were basically, "insert disk, follow instructions.") so i naively believed that i could install my upgrade, and

It seems like they are so large that all they care about is looking good, actual ease of use does not seem to be a priority.
