overall, this is a great software package, it was easy to install and is easy to use.
visual basic scripting is here (although it will disappear in the next version).

microsoft works suite 2006 offers a full version of word 2002, which is basically what i use at work.

aside from being bulkier than the simple dvd clamshell of its predecessor, the plastic casing of both new office and windows products is rather complicated and tricky.

the ms small business 2007 is fantastic.
i got it today and i am thrilled with the capability and ease of use.
the voice command is easy to use and is developed in a practicle manner.

recognitition is reasonably good, but there are times when it is simpler to just press the button instead.
there are also some common features, namely microsoft equation 3 and microsoft visual basic for applications (vba) 6.3 for writing scripts and macros.

i have spend countless hours looking for simple things that are now buried in this completely unintuitive interface.
what i would like to see is software that will do basic stuff.
it's easy to use and has done a great job with my finances and the many accounts i have (401k, savings, checking, money market, mutual funds); no complaints.
while there could be some compelling features of the software, yet its basic functions are crippled and unstable, leaving me frustrated with this one star rating.

the bottom line: it's sturdy construction, simple mechanisms, stylish good looks and great toast making ability won me over hands down.
