the bread toasts well be the pieces are too tall to fit into an ordinary toaster.

when using butter, be sure to cut it into small pieces for easier mixing.

if you are not too concerned about the price, go ahead and reward yourself with this nice piece.

the only reason i gave this 4 stars rather than 5 is because when making dough for noodles, i put my hand in the well (after the bread pan was removed) to clean a few crumbs out and my index finger

we find ourselves waiting anxiously for the end of the cooking cycle, slice it after it's cooled, get out the butter/margarine and enjoy a very small piece and critique it.

the next thing i found out is when you make a 2lb loaf, it is near impossible to slice a piece with any conformitty.

i had once replaced the paddle piece (ebay), but the bread pans are impossible to find.

i figured it was a small price to pay for piece of mind...if anything breaks, i will retun the machine postage paid and get a check to buy a new one.

i took the bread out and tried to give the kneading piece a hand.

i definitely think this is a nice piece of cookware to have in the kitchen for any occasion.

it's a solidly constructed piece, wieghty, and good-looking on the counter.

2 lb pizza dough makes two large pies and the crust is chewy/crispy - very tasty!

i wish cuisinart had tried again to work out the kinks in either the recipes or the workings of this piece of junk.
