makes terrific bread and the foot print of the machine is small so it doesn't take up space on your counter top.
while you might think the small paddle isn't enough, it is perfect but sometimes gets stuck with crusted bread.
it was the ups guy, thanks to qvc.i have never used a breadmaking machine before, and couldn't wait to try this little gem out.
the machine was so quiet we had to check to make sure it was working, and we live in a townhouse where the kitchen and family room is one space and small.
this is the greatest little breadmaker!!
she has a gluten allergy so this bread machine will make her and her daughters life a little easier.
we are finding that with the small book that came with the maker has a few ways to make bread is the best way to go, buy the bread flour, yeast and what ever else you need and have fun with it.
i didnt give it 5 stars because the machine a little loud during the kneading cycle, scared the dog.
it takes a little over an hour to get fresh, gluten-free bread.
my only issue is when it is done its a little hard to pull out the bread pan.
my husband and son tend to gobble up the fresh bread, so it really doesn't matter that i can't use it for smaller loaves.
it's a small machine, but can make 1, 1.5, and 2lb bread loaves.
it is a little noisy, but not all that bad.very happy with this machine and would recommend to anyone.
it was a little bigger than i had expected, but that is the only sort of negative thing i can say so far.
it is a little noisy but all that i have ever had have been noisy.
i purchased this machine a little over a month ago, like everyone else from reading the reviews, at that time no one had anything bad to say about it.
it does look really good and it's a great size that doesn't take up a lot of counter space.
i received a bread maker as a gift and the one i got was defective so i did a little research and decided to upgrade to the west bend.
it does leave a small amount of unused flower on the sides of the cooker.
i also liked the fact that this one was a little smaller than others i considered.
i would say to those hesitant about the product that while the letters are a bit small, we could not find any other real issues with the machine.
i makes a little noise, but not bad.
a bit loud when mixing the dough and the beeping can be a little annoying.
check your bread while it's kneading on a humid day to see if a little flour needs to be added, only adding a tbsp at a time.
plus now, you can have bread in a little over an hour.
what's great about it:?makes every kind of bread and jam what's not so great:?rather large footprint "after almost going blind researching bread machines, this is the one i finally chose.
just this friday i used the whole extended one (12 hours), but was a bit afraid if it would work, because when i used it the first time the little paddle came out and the dough didn't mix, but i was
it takes up more counterspace than my old one but that is ok.
i enjoy this baker, it is loud, but my other one was as well, so that means little to me..
a little noisy at first, but i think it was because i didn't install the pan in properly.
it is such a quick and easy way to make bread with very little clean-up afterwards.
my first loaf was a two pound loaf of white bread, and it came out perfect with very little effort on my part.
smaller footprint makes it easier to store.
cons: big, bulky, lcd, impossible to read.
pros: takes up a lot of counter or pantry space.
tall, but small.
horizontal machines do not mix as well, end up with a hole in the bottom from the paddle and create odd size slices when making smaller loaves.
another note is that the display and programming could be a little more high tech, but that's not too big of a deal if you ask me, especially at the price we paid!
tried to clean it out and a small spring came out.
pros: attractive, modern, compact design cons: the breadpan is thinner/cheaper in construction than some competing brands.
its basically same as other bread makers except it does do the french bread which is exceptional good..bread good for small sandwiches .
the only bad thing i can say is the pizza dough recipe was a little dry so i add an extra 1/2 cup of water and 1 tbsp of oil and it turns out just fine.
i'm a little disappointed that there's no 'bake only' cycle.
also, i'd like to use the little baguette molds to make regular sandwich rolls from bread dough but can't because the machine will only allow for baguette dough + bake cycle (again, no "bake only"
