Best Boomboxes for Usb

it's all about the usb playback!

i want to thank martin for his review which avoided me having to figure out the play method of the unit on usb drives.

we opened the package and i connected a usb stick i had pre-loaded with around 150 songs.

as an added bonus this has a usb port that will play your flash drives as well.

it will play vbr mp3s from the usb interface, but not from a cd.

i was looking for a relatively cheap boombox that had mp3-cd and usb drive capability.

the usb port was flaky and would not always read the thumb drive.

pros: good sound, great features, line in, plays mp3 cds, remote control, well built cons: does not have a usb input, does not play wma best uses: home use, office use

pros: has audio line-in mini-stereo jack for your mp3 player. cons: it would be better with a usb port for charging.

this unit also includes an usb port for jump drives.

so as a last resort i put in a usb flash drive.

in addition, it even does a mediocre job at performing one of its functions that it was marketed for: reading usb flash drives.
