Best Boomboxes for Battery Life

i was a little skeptical about the battery life considering the size and volume, but i took it camping and was shocked at the amount of time (3days) the batteries(six d type)lasted.

i have it plugged into ac and will most likely never put a battery in it.

i strap my mp3 player to the handle and kick it on battery power for hours.

my only complaint (and the reason it doesn't get 5 stars) is that the radio resets itself when switching from wall power to battery power - forcing you to retune and readjust the volume.

unknowns:-haven't tested battery life yet-haven't really blasted it to see how it performs at high volume.

battery facility also available - for those who can afford.

6>the manual doesn't specify how long it should take to charge the battery - it seems to take a lot longer than my standard charger.i'd definitely buy it again, but then i'm committed to the bosch

they also disconnected the clock when the power is off when running off the battery.

i have to remember to unplug the battery.

this is a little heavier than my small radio i am use to but, now i only carry this instead of my cell phone charger, radio, battery charger, and power strip.

dont know how good the battery life is yet but not counting on a very long life on that.
